These diyas are made from gomaya (cow dung of native breed cows). This comes in a set of 10 gomaya diyas with 10 gomaya plates to keep below the diya.

Burning of gomaya helps spread positive vibes in the atmosphere, also acts as a great insect repellant! The diyas are sun baked and hence have a lower carbon footprint than the kiln burnt clay diyas. The gomaya diyas also make milk unyielding cows an income source and thus get automatically cared for and not abandoned.
